Time & Location

23 mars 2018, 09:00 – 17:00

StP Communications, Rue de la Science 14b, 1040 Brussels, Belgium

About the event

The Workshop on Social Media Management for Advocacy groups & Associations will enable Brussels and EU public affairs & communication professionals to plan, execute, and assess comprehensive and effective social media campaigns for their organisations.

Through a combination of an extensive presentation of the tools, case study analysis, and simulations, participants will increase their expertise in social media planning, campaign management, and analysis to craft an authentic and effective “voice” for their organisations.

Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media have changed the rules of engagement. They have become vital tools in doing business and public affairs in Brussels.

An integrated and multi-channel social media strategy is now a must-have for organisations seeking to achieve their missions or business objectives, especially since social media is an extension of the most powerful form of marketing: word-of-mouth.

As a form of earned media, word-of-mouth recommendations from friends, family, and news articles, social media has risen because it is typically trusted more than paid media. All organisations, whether mission-driven or profit-driven, should learn to shape the public conversation about their products, services or missions.

This course is for participants with a basic knowledge of social media. Participants are kindly requested to bring their own laptop.
